You should have 2 different phone scripts ready to meet your network marketing needs. Example of a network marketing lead capture pageYour approach will be totally different, however you will still need to qualify the network marketing prospect of the 5 key attributes. *Phone Scripts It is my firm belief that a phone script should be written in your own words because trying to follow someone else's phone script WILL NOT WORK. Take what they give you, re-write it and use your own vocabulary. Network marketing prospects can tell when you are reading from a phone script and they will see right through you. You want to present LEADERSHIP in your call and in your voice. It does not matter how much you know, it matters how you say it. Think like a leader, speak like a leader and you will draw network marketing prospects to you like a magnet. Your Phone Script NEEDS to Gather these 5 Key Attributes
DESIRE: if your network marketing prospect can follow your instructions and prove to you that they did review your information, then it is safe to assume they have a genuine interest in your network marketing business. Find out what their WHY is and keep going back to that in later follow ups. MONEY: if there is a will there is a way. Network marketing prospects use money as an excuse more times than any other excuse in the book. Just remember, if there is a DESIRE to earn income from your network marketing opportunity and they like it-your prospect will find the money. CRITICAL THINKING: does your network marketing prospects ask the "good questions". Compensation, company, products and marketing or advertising strategies. Are they really evaluating your opportunity or are they comparing your network marketing company to another? DECISION: if what we present to you, meets your satisfaction when do you think you would begin your partnership (or join) with our team? Can they make a decision or they just fumbling around. INSTRUCTIONS: to become a good leader, you must be a good listener, follower, and get yourself educated. If the network marketing prospect has followed your instructions, then it is fair to say "they can follow instructions". Right? When you prospect for potential network marketing business partners using the above 5 attributes you will be leading with strength and the prospects will know it. However, if you are reading from a "canned" phone script, they will read you like a book.
Always Remember: they are not saying NO to you, they are saying NO to your network marketing opportunity. Or are they? Your phone script should be a qualification script to make sure they are suited for the business that they want, not what you want them to be a part of. There are angles you can present that will help you qualify them for your opportunity. It's about your network marketing prospect and whether they are "ready" to be in business for themselves with the "self motivation" attached. There are times when they (the network marketing prospect) is not ready for this business and should be strong enough to tell them that. Present strength not weakness. Take it away from them and see what happens. REMEMBER: if they don't like you, they will let you know, usually by not returning your phone calls, emails or simply not answering the phone the next time you call them. Many people get turned off by talking about earning $100K per month. Guess what? If your network marketing prospect gets turned off by that phrase, you don't want them-they do not have the entrepreneur spirit. ****UPDATED 2008 **** If you are familiar with the Magnetic Sponsoring System from Mike Dillard then you know a lot of networkers are building their business BASS AKWARDS. We've applied those strategies in our current phone scripts and have basically been able to get back anywhere from 50% to 94% of the money we invested in the leads we purchased. Use this script and have these few ebooks available and you will see a tremendous growth in your downline, because............... They will not be losing money so fast and be more willing to stay in your network marketing business. Remember it's the money that causes a lot of people to stop their autoship.
Remember: re-write the following phone script in your own vocabulary Distributor: "Hi prospect, it's
(your name) out here in (your state). Please put your money away
we don't want it. Wait for the laugh from them and continue. It's
obvious that you are looking for ways to generate a few extra bucks
or you wouldn't have stopped by our website. Is that correct?" The NO Script: Prospect: "No,
not anymore". The YES Script: Prospect: "Well,
yes I am. Whatch ya got?" Prospect: "Well, I have
heard some things about the industry that have me concerned." Prospect: "Yes, that if you don't
choose the right company with the right products that your chance of achieving
success is not very good." Wait for prospect to answer and then..... (Prospect name), would it be alright if I direct you to a very
affordable ebook that I make available to future marketers called, 'Network
